About Me
My love affair with computers started way back in 1982, when I was seven years old. My dad had a Radio Shack TRS-80 and I learned to type by playing "Zork".
That interest got me through college at Michigan Technological University to earn a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and ultimately a job as a software engineer at a very large technology company.
My attention turned to mobile applications when I got my first smartphone, a Blackberry Storm, for Christmas a couple years ago. I played around with the Blackberry SDK a bit and developed a couple little apps, but never published anything. I never felt at home on the Blackberry platform.
Fast forward to June of 2010. My wife got me an HTC Incredible as a gift. This is the phone I've been waiting for! I installed the Android SDK on my computer and instantly felt at home. From there I developed and published my first application, LEAP Wifi.
The purpose of my business is to provide Android applications that provide everyday value. Be it educational, professional, or personal, there are infinite possibilities for mobile applications to save us time on menial tasks, enhance the enjoyment of our favorite passtimes, provide educational stimulation for our children while sitting at a restaurant, the list goes on and on.
On a personal note, my wife and I have two young children. When we're not busy with them and their activities, I enjoy traveling, reading, camping, fishing, and most of all, motorcycling.
